When the car was returned to me I was astounded at how well it ran.
Hi John. I could make this much longer, but you said you wanted brevity. Let me know if you would like me to make any changes.
John and his team at Sterling Service have taken great care of my 1962 Mercedes Benz 190SL for over two decades. I would never think of taking it anywhere else. For the car’s fiftieth birthday, I asked John to give it a complete mechanical restoration which included a complete engine tear down and a thorough review of all the other important mechanical components. During the process, John kept me completely informed and involved in the decision-making. When the car was returned to me I was astounded at how well it ran. I can honestly say that it has never run better in the three decades that I have owned it. John truly has a gift for working on classic cars. I wish I could find doctors who could do for me what John has done for my 190.

“I cannot be more pleased with the service I have received…”
Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you, but non-tax items I receive during tax season have a tendency to get buried or lost…yours just got buried, not lost.
I have been a customer of Sterling Service for about 15 years, this covers two Audi’s and two Volkswagens. I cannot be more pleased with the service I have received over this time. In my experience Sterling Service excels in technical competence, competitive pricing, reliability, and most of all, honesty. I also value the advice I am given about available options for service issues and the ability John and crew have to explain just what is happening and why in the complex inner workings of today’s complicated vehicles. This includes a few long distance diagnosis issue while traveling. I have recommended John to family and friends and they have all been as pleased as I am. Sterling Service is the best, nothing more need be said.
“It is a great pleasure to recommend Sterling Service Inc.”
It is a great pleasure to recommend Sterling Service, Inc. For years, we have enjoyed the professional, value added service. We are no longer being gouged by our dealer service and the quality is superb. It’s so nice knowing the opinion we receive is driven from our interest and not the monthly bottom line. We give Sterling Service our highest recommendation!
For over a decade I have been going to Sterling Service for all of my Audi’s service needs. John, Mike and Luke’s judgement and advice is always welcome, they are the only people I trust with my vehicle. Their attention to maintenance and performance of my car is second to none.
Thanks for your letter.
Thanks for your letter. I expect your effort to move into today’s connected world will prove interesting. I can only provide a little assistance from behind as I’m not fully into the 21st century myself. You are welcome to use the attached recommendation as best suits your efforts.
I have been wondering? Have you arranged to connect your reception area with your new 38 State neighbors? That might really increase your traffic.
Best regards,
John, Luke and Mike are the epitome of dependability, quality, professionalism, honesty and fairness.
We’ve been customers at Sterling Service for more than 15 years. John, Luke and Mike are the epitome of dependability, quality, professionalism, honesty and fairness. Not only do we recommend them to anyone needing automotive service but we couldn’t consider going anywhere else.
Without reservation, we recommend Sterling Service.

“Your attention to detail, customer service and not to mention great prices will keep us customers for life.”
Just wanted to send a quick note to thank you for your amazing service. Your attention to detail, customer service and not to mention great prices will keep us customers for life.
I will continue to recommend you to everyone I know!!!
Thank you so much,
We are loyal fans and customers of Sterling Service, Inc.
We are loyal fans and customers of Sterling Service, Inc. for over 28 years and counting. They have maintained a variety of vehicles for us including Porsche, BMW’s, Audi’s, VW, Corvette, and Ford F150 truck. You may ask why are you a steady customer for all those years and the answer lies in honesty, diagnostic skills to find the problem and their ability to repair in a timely fashion. Sterling Service truly cares about you and your vehicle. This is something that dealerships are unable to provide even though they tell you otherwise.
Let me site a couple of examples for you. In 2008 I purchased a new BMW 535XI from a local dealer in January of 08 for my wife. In February of 08 we went on a golfing trip to North Carolina and upon returning to Denver we had just over 5,000 miles on the car.
We had Sterling Service change the oil @ 5,000 miles rather than the 15,000 the dealership recommends and Sterling found a left front inner seal leaking which is a warranty item, right?? So I make an appointment with the dealership to have this corrected and the dealership is unable to find the car in their computer system which I had just purchase 8 weeks earlier. The service writer finally finds the vehicle after 20 minutes of looking and says to me that I am scheduled next Tuesday a week from today. Thinking that I may have made an error in scheduling, I go next Tuesday to the dealership, this time a new service writer unable to find the vehicle only to tell me when he does find the car, that I am supposed to be @ the dealership last week for the appointment. Needless to say that I have never been back to that dealership after spending in excess of $62,500.00 for the vehicle. Dealerships main goal in life is the next sale, not your vehicles that need service. The next example is even more alarming. New dealership take car in for warranty work, mileage on vehicle is 36,212 and dealership recorded the mileage on the service ticket as 51,110. Service director said that since the car was barely out of the 50,000 mile warranty they went ahead and installed a new battery @ no charge. Think about that, the dealership is unable to record the mileage correctly which is on the dash digital read out and on the key fob. This is why I go to Sterling Service. I like honesty and a straight forward approach. I want to have the confidence that when I pay for a job to be done, I am getting what I signed up for and @ Sterling Service gives you just that.

“Thanks for taking care of me and my Audis!”
Below I’ve written a few sentences (feel free to use all or part of it) you can use on your new web site. I could say a lot more about my experience with you and your shop over the last 20+ years, but that would likely be too much for this purpose. I hope I’ve captured the most important parts. You’ve always given me excellent service and for that I thank you!
“I’ve known John and his crew – Mike and Luke, for over 20 years. They have worked on 4 generations of my Audi cars. Knowing I can get them fixed properly is a main reason I still drive Audis – especially older models. The Sterling Service crew are traditional mechanics, who thoroughly diagnose a problem, rather than randomly replacing parts based on electronic fault codes. I trust their expertise and skill. The honest and excellent service is worth every dollar.
Thanks for taking care of me and my Audis!”
Thanks,
Ulf
I can only state that John and his crew…..are the most honest, competent, and customer oriented auto repair/rebuild specialists I have seen.

I have referred my son and daughters and others to them for their car” needs”. My cars…all German..1983 Porsche 911 SC… 2000 Mercedes ML430…..2005 BMW 330CI all have been serviced, repaired by Sterling for many years AND I have never had an issue..They know what they are doing and are fair!! I will continue to recommend them to those in need of a great shop!
Dear Millennials,
I continue to recommend Sterling Service on a regular basis.
I sincerely hope you do as well as your father. His hard work and skill have been thoroughly appreciated by me.
I first started bringing my car, a 1970 VW bug, to John in 1977. My husband had used your father for his Porsche repair…but felt he was a bit pricey. One day he took the Porsche to the dealership, who quoted $1300 ish for the repair. I suggested we take the Porsche back over to John before we had the dealer do the work. John charged us $46.00 including labor. He won my business right then and there.
With John, I have felt like I had a “big brother” watching out for me. He would tell me when or if I needed to do a repair on my car, and when I better bring it back in for a check up. Sometimes he fixed things I forgot to tell him about. As a single woman I have appreciated that. I also have never felt taken advantage of.
Sometimes, I didn’t like his advice (or the bill) …but I trust him and knew it was the right thing to do. It (the bug) is still running…and though it isn’t as pretty as it was in 1977…it purrs just like a top with over 400,000 miles on it.
I have also used his advice when purchasing cars. He looked at a pretty Mercedes for me and told me not to buy it, as it had been in an accident…and needed a lot more work than the owner had indicated.
I continue to recommend Sterling Service on a regular basis. I have felt that John is very professional and I trust him and his recommendations and he has never let me down.

John and his staff @ Sterling completed the job superbly.
I bought a 2010 Ford F150 truck site un-seen on the internet and it had a 6” lift and large wide tires. The truck did not drive well and my wife had difficulty getting in and out of the vehicle. Sterling Service took on the project of lowering the vehicle to a normal height which was a tremendous project. John and his competent staff @ Sterling completed the job superbly which is not their typical type of service work. I might add that the truck drives great now.
My wife and I were on a road trip to Arizona in a 525I and we stopped in Colorado Springs for breakfast and upon returning to our car it would not start, completely dead. I called Sterling Service, they trouble shot the problem over the phone and determined it was probably a relay, Sterling Service found a shop close by that was able to come over and pick up the car, fixed the problem and got us back on the road again with minimal delay. A couple of hours come to mind. Again this is the type of service they do for their customers and that dealerships will not do.
We are customers of Sterling Service because they care about you and your vehicle.
Sterling Service, Inc. toes the extra mile and we greatly appreciate that. Sterling Service is like extended family to my wife and me. Give them a call as you will not be disappointed. They are great people just trying to make it through life in a tough world.

From both a quality and cost standpoint, the work performed at Sterling Service, is simply the best in town bar none.
John Bradley and the staff at Sterling Service, have serviced and/or repaired, my Mercedes Benz vehicles for the past (23) years. The service provided, has covered (7) different models, with an average ownership life span of (9) years. From both a quality and cost standpoint, the work performed at Sterling Service, is simply the best in town bar none.
What I enjoy the most, is it takes only one trip to Sterling Service, to fix the problem. You should give them the opportunity to earn your trust, if so, you will experience the same satisfaction, that I have enjoyed over the years.
